PROJECTS:

Ergonomic Pipe Load System, Halliburton Company Fall 2012
• Design a new ergonomic storage and transportation system for 14 2 in. steel pipes. The design was modeled using SolidWorks. Preliminary FEA was completed to determine displacement and stresses exerted on the system. The system fulfilled the ergonomic requirements set by Halliburton to safely secure and transport the pipes. Scholarship awarded for best class project.

Senior Design Project, University of Colorado-Boulder Fall 2012/Spring 2013
• Design and build a working prototype for an assistive mechanized walking device that will enable people affected by paraplegia to walk. The assistive device is based on the design laid out in the patent by Eric J. Skoog: Paraplegic controlled, concealed mechanized walking device.

Airfoil Placement Analysis, University of Colorado-Boulder Spring 2013
• Designed an airfoil kit for a Mercedes-Benz E350 Sport Sedan. A 1:27 scale replica was created using SolidWorks and printed with a 3-D Plastic Printer. Testing was conducted using a Wind Tunnel, Particle Imaging Velocimetry (PIV), and Computational Fluid Dynamic...
