Carpet Warehouse Manager
Load installers every morning with the materials they need for the day.
Assign carpet from inventory and cutting all carpet using our carpet cutting machine.
Unload trucks through the day using both a sit-down and stand-up forklift.
Maintain all inventory.
Order carpet pad and other supplies as needed.
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.
Sort and place carpet and other materials on racks, shelves or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
Mark materials with identifying information and maintain inventory records.
Identify problems and offer solutions.
Read production schedules, customer orders and requisitions to determine carpet and pad inventory to be assembled, moved, gathered or distributed to installers.
Record materials received and/or distributed.
Able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
Pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications.
Understand basic ACS system functions and process as it relates to warehouse operations.
Have a basic understanding of QTY’s on floor plans and its relation to the order.
Perform general cleaning and minor maintenance duties to maintain warehouse.

Perform production duties including manual lifting, measuring, cutting, mitering gluing, packaging, taping and shipping of carpet matting and other floor covering materials.
Take delivery of product and put away as it is received into the warehouse.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Ship product and generate invoice paperwork.
Move, store, replenish and pack floor covering materials.
Process shipments through computer software program.
Review, process and fill orders in computer ERP system.

Receive, count, and stock merchandise in staging areas or upon shelving.
Verify inventory by comparing physical count of stock and report any discrepancies.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner.
Mark stocked items using identification tags and labels.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects, and report such damage.
Have a solid attendance and work history.
